La comida mexicana es \u00fanica, es el resultado de la mezcla de dos culturas en el siglo XVI: la prehisp\u00e1nica y la europea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ingrediente clave que hace tan distintiva la cocina mexicana es el uso del ma\u00edz. Desde las tradicionales tortillas para preparar tacos, flautas, sopes o enchiladas, hasta elaborados tamales al vapor envueltos en hojas de ma\u00edz. Tambi\u00e9n se utilizan otros ingredientes ex\u00f3ticos, como la flor de calabaza en quesadillas o incluso el huitlacoche, un hongo negro que crece en la superficie del ma\u00edz.
